Collection: Lyle & Scott

Lyle & Scott was founded in 1874 in the small Scottish town of Hawick by William Lyle and Walter Scott. It is one of the most enduring and fascinating heritage brands in the British landscape. Starting as a quality knitwear manufacturer, the brand has successfully navigated over 150 years of history, continually reinventing itself without ever betraying its core identity. Among the key moments in its evolution is the launch, in the 1960s, of the iconic Golden Eagle logo. Initially associated with the golf line, it was soon worn by the greatest champions of the era, such as Tony Jacklin, Gary Player, and Greg Norman.

The symbol was so powerful that in 1975 it was awarded the prestigious Royal Warrant of Appointment by the Duke of Edinburgh. But Lyle & Scott is not just golf. In the 1980s, it became the unofficial uniform of various British youth subcultures, from the Casuals to the Mods, thus conquering the streets and terraces. In 2003, the relaunch of the Vintage line brought the brand back into the spotlight. It was embraced by the indie generation and artists like the Arctic Monkeys. Today, Lyle & Scott continues to represent a meeting point between authentic craftsmanship, Scottish heritage, and contemporary style. Explore the Lyle & Scott collection and discover the knitwear that has traversed 150 years of British history.
