Returns, Exchanges and Refunds

1. Right of withdrawal

Pursuant to articles 52 and subsequent of Legislative Decree 206/2005 (Consumer Code), the Customer who qualifies as a consumer has the right to withdraw from the purchase contract within 14 (fourteen) days from the date of receipt of the products, without any obligation to provide reasons.

The right of withdrawal can be exercised by explicit notification to be sent within the specified term (14 days) by accessing one's personal account on the website with the email used at the time of the order, identifying the reference order and selecting the “Request return” function.

3. Conditions for accepting returns

The right of withdrawal is subject to compliance with the following conditions:

  • the products must be returned intact, unused, unworn and unwashed
  • they must include original labels, accessories and original packaging
  • they must be suitable for resale
  • suitable proof of purchase must be provided
  • the Customer is required to pack the products in suitable shipping packaging, properly sealed and protective. Shoes must be returned in their original box, which must be placed inside an additional box or shipping bag, in order to preserve its integrity.

Pursuant to art. 57, paragraph 2, of the Consumer Code, the Customer is responsible for the decrease in value of the goods resulting from handling other than that necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.

Returns made without prior request and authorization will not be accepted.

4. Return methods and costs – Italy

Following the approval of the return request, Banana Benz Srl will provide the Customer with a shipping label via BRT courier.

  • In case of withdrawal with refund, the cost of return shipping equal to €5.00 will be borne by the Customer and deducted from the refund amount.
  • In case of size exchange, the return and shipping costs of the new item will be entirely borne by Banana Benz Srl.

The shipping label is valid for 7 (seven) days from the date of issue. After this period, the return request will be cancelled and Banana Benz Srl will not be liable for any loss or delay in delivery of the package.

5. Second exchange or subsequent return

If the first exchange is not suitable, a further replacement cannot be requested. In such a case, only the return of the product and the refund of the order will proceed.

If the Customer wishes a different item or a new size, they must place a new separate order.

Any subsequent return will be at the Customer's expense, who must arrange for shipping at their own expense to:

Once the product is received, Banana Benz Srl will proceed with the refund of the order, excluding shipping costs incurred by the Customer.

6. Returns for orders shipped outside Italy

For orders delivered outside Italian territory:

  • return shipping costs are entirely borne by the Customer
  • the return must be made within 7 days of the request
  • the use of a tracked courier is mandatory
  • the tracking code must be communicated via email or WhatsApp

Returns without tracking or sent beyond the deadlines will not be accepted.

Once the product is received, Banana Benz Srl will proceed with the refund of the order, excluding shipping costs incurred by the Customer.

Returns for customers from France, Spain, Poland, Netherlands and Germany

Following the approval of the return request, Banana Benz Srl will provide the Customer with a shipping label via BRT/DPD courier.

  • In case of withdrawal with refund, the cost of return shipping equal to €10.00 will be borne by the Customer and deducted from the refund amount.

The shipping label is valid for 7 (seven) days from the date of issue. After this period, the return request will be cancelled and Banana Benz Srl will not be liable for any loss or delay in delivery of the package.

7. Exclusions from the right of withdrawal

Pursuant to art. 59 of the Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal is excluded for:

  • underwear items
  • personalized or tailor-made goods
  • personal care products
  • gift vouchers

8. Defective or non-compliant products

The Customer is required to verify the conformity of the product upon delivery. Any defects, damages or shipping errors must be reported promptly to allow for the application of the protections provided for by articles 128-135 of the Consumer Code.

9. Refunds

The refund will only be made after receipt and verification of the product by the quality control department.

In case of a positive outcome:

  • the refund will be made to the original payment method
  • within 10 business days of confirmation of acceptance
  • credit times may vary depending on the banking institution

10. Additional information

The Customer acknowledges that the items on the website may have been displayed, tried on or worn at Banana Benz Srl physical stores.
