Lyle & Scott, founded in 1874 in the small Scottish town of Hawick by William Lyle and Walter Scott, is one of the oldest and most fascinating heritage brands in the British landscape. Born as a quality knitwear manufacturer, the brand has successfully navigated over 150 years of history, continuously reinventing itself without ever betraying its soul. Among the key moments in its evolution is the launch, in the 1960s, of the iconic logo with the Golden Eagle, initially linked to the golf line and soon worn by the greatest champions of the era such as Tony Jacklin, Gary Player, and Greg Norman.

A symbol so powerful that in 1975 it obtained the prestigious Royal Warrant of Appointment from the Duke of Edinburgh. But Lyle & Scott is not just golf: in the 1980s, it became the unofficial uniform of some of the most iconic British youth subcultures, from Casuals to Mods, conquering the streets and terraces. In 2003, the relaunch of the Vintage line brought the brand back into the spotlight, this time embraced by the indie generation and artists like the Arctic Monkeys. Today, with its minimalist and British aesthetic, Lyle & Scott continues to represent a perfect meeting point between authentic craftsmanship, Scottish heritage, and contemporary style.
