Obey is an American streetwear brand known for its connection to street art and the graphics created by founder Shepard Fairey. Born in 2001 with a simple sticker depicting the face of the wrestler André the Giant, the name Obey, which means "obey" , is a parody of propaganda and advertising . The brand redefines the paradigms of modern society through projects that are based on political and anti-political activism.

Obey was one of the pioneers among American streetwear brands to successfully expand into Europe. Originally rooted in the underground, it gained popularity and became a mass phenomenon. Its identity manifests itself through a selection of garments, consisting of T-shirts with graphics designed by Shepard Fairey , sweatshirts with the Obey logo, jeans, jackets and sweaters.

One of the most iconic models is the Obey Icon Face T-Shirt , a t-shirt with the famous face of André the Giant, often accompanied by the writing "OBEY". This model has become a recognizable symbol of the brand.
