New Amsterdam Surf Association

New Amsterdam Surf Association was founded in 2018 in Amsterdam by Paul Zeper, a former professional windsurfer. The Dutch brand is inspired by cold water surfing in the North Sea, far from the tropical clichés that dominate traditional surf culture.

The oyster logo tells this story. It refers to the brackish waters of Wijk aan Zee, one of the most industrial surf spots in the world, and the resilience needed to tackle it. The collection combines clean graphics, bold colours, and an urban-surf aesthetic designed for both the water and the city.
