Herschel

Herschel was founded in 2009 in Vancouver, Canada, by brothers Jamie and Lyndon Cormack. The name, in fact, recalls Herschel, the small town in Saskatchewan where their family had lived for three generations. The two brothers worked in the outdoor industry, for K2 Sports and Vans respectively. They noticed a gap in the backpack market, which was stuck between overly technical products and accessories lacking style. So they decided to design backpacks that combined retro design, quality materials, and affordable prices. The Little America model quickly became the brand's iconic backpack, recognizable by its structured design and leather details.
