Cookman was born in the United States from an idea by a group of chefs. They were looking for comfortable and durable trousers that could hold their own even outside the kitchen. The brand's foundational item is thus the Chef Pant, with an elasticated waistband, a relaxed fit at the hips, and a slightly tapered ankle. The side loop, originally designed for hanging dishcloths, is now used to keep keys and small accessories close at hand.

From a technical work garment, the Chef Pant has indeed become an everyday item, the so-called one-mile wear. A garment capable of leaving the kitchen without losing functionality.
