O'Neill

O'Neill was founded in San Francisco in 1952. Jack O'Neill opened one of California's first surf shops in a garage along the Great Highway. The founder experimented with neoprene until he created the first wetsuit, forever changing the way people experienced the ocean.

The brand soon moved to Santa Cruz. Here, other inventions that became part of surf history were born, such as the leash designed by his son Pat. The wave logo was also created here, which became a globally recognized symbol. Today, the range includes wetsuits, swimwear, and streetwear inspired by board culture.
