Barbour is an English brand known for its hunting-inspired tartan-lined waxed jackets . The brand has become a symbol of the English way of life thanks to iconic styles such as the Barbour Bedale , Ashby and Beaufort . Founded in the late 1800s by John Barbour , the brand embodies British style like no other. Originally designed for outdoor pursuits such as hunting, Barbour jackets are waterproof and easy to handle.
