Keen prepares spring collaborations with Bamboo Shoots, SNS and Mita Sneakers.
Keen continues to create special collaborations with the world's leading clothing stores. Working in synergy with brands gives each brand the opportunity to design their own unique interpretation of their outdoor footwear.
There are three limited edition models present in our store: UNEEK II Convertible x Mita Sneakers, UNEEK Flat Cord Sneaker x Bamboo Shoots and the UNEEK Flat Cord Sneaker x SNS.
Working with Japanese brand Mita Sneakers and their creative director Eiichi Kuni, Keen combines the unique features of the UNEEK sandal by updating it with a movable heel strap and natural cork footbed.
Taking inspiration from the original American sneaker culture, Kai Kazuhiko of Bamboo Shoots, a Japanese brand, combines the style made in the USA with the Japanese one by updating the patented UNEEK interlocking cord system with two elastic polyester cords that adapts to the movement of the foot for a superior fit.
SNS (Sneakerstuff) did the same thing, which to celebrate its 25th anniversary recreated the UNEEK flat inspired by the rave culture of the 90s, combining a soft suede upper with a footbed water resistant and NXT Cleansport.
